Takashi Murakami Opens Retrospective At VAG

"The Octopus Eats Its own Leg"


Over the weekend, The Vancouver Art Gallery opened its latest retrospective exhibition featuring the revered work of Takashi Murakami. The front facade and multiple floors of the historic building have been altered and retrofitted with Murakami’s graphic work spanning from the early 1980s alongside new projects, some of which are still in completion. “The Octopus Eats Its Own Leg” is on now until May 6th at its only Canadian stop at the VAG.
