Located near Jingdezhen, China’s “Porcelain Capital,” the striking Sanbaopeng Art Museum taps into the area’s materials and makers, local clay employed across its heavy rammed-earth walls. Designed by DL Atelier, the building was envisioned as a celebration of Jingdezhen’s artist community, the studio’s founder describes: “At the very beginning, my interests were more focused on telling stories between artists and their creations than just designing a ‘me-too’ museum.”
