M-box continues to set their sights on ambitious spatial adventures. The Berlin-based installations venture has worked with the likes of Daimler, Vice Media and Adidas, generating hypnotic spaces and cinematic productions. They’ve recently teamed up with the Elfenbein Museum in Germany. Also called the Ivory Museum, this newly modernized museum pays homage to the history of ivory carving around the world.
In what they describe as “an immersive spatial installation, incorporating historic and contemporary context”, M-box effectively juxtaposes history with the future. Vibrant vertical structures and rippling lights meet the chronicled images and landmarks like an irresistible force. Check out the scenographic, which doubles its savour if you understand German.
