Even though the Ralph Lauren brand has a long history in its own right, I've always felt that some of the most interesting pieces come from the American fashion house's vintage inspired RRL (Double RL) line. Based off a 1950's Korean War souvenir jacket, the piece is cut from a diamond quilted viscose/cotton composite for an authentic feel. True-to-era designs are intricately embroidered at the chest and rear. Sparing no expense in details, the jacket features indigo dyed ribbing and worn-in finish throughout; while remaining rich in colour, the piece requires minimal care and maintenance making it very easy to wear. Available online as part of RRL's summer offerings.
