Combining for over three decades of garment construction and collection experience, WACKO MARIA continues their collaborative relationship with Takuji Mikita of WOLF’S HEAD fame. The latest culmination of their efforts materializes this season in the Souvenir Jacket. Named and based on Souvenir Jackets from post-WWII era Japan - popularized by touring Allied soldiers, the jacket features fully reversible construction. The smooth rayon face prominently features at the rear an aggressive wolf’s head with a cracked skull clutched in its mouth, while finely braided piping runs along the shoulders and sleeves. The alternate diamond quilted side once again features the cracked skull but in an intricately embroidered iteration at the chest. A statement piece in the soon to be ubiquitous silhouette; drawing from the strengths of WOLF’S HEAD’s long standing vintage inspired aesthetics along with WACKO MARIA’s tailoring expertise and playfulness. Available now at HAVEN and select retailers globally.
