Japanese leather specialists- blackmeans renown for their incredible punk inspired leather jackets has just released a special collaborative piece with Tokyo based concept shop Eliminator. Limited to only 10 pieces worldwide, the classic motorcycle rider silhouette comes customized by artist Ila, Tsutomu Moriya.
Crafted in Japan from white cowhide and then stencilled, tanned and dyed with natural black pigment the jacket undergoes a meticulous process of assembly and features hand painted detailing and deliberate distressing throughout to display the original white hue underneath.
Along the rear collar, displays "Past Now Future" meaning to learn from the past to make the future, this is the principle behind Eliminator's brand philosophy. Moriya's long established ties to the UK is commemorated with the use of it's country code alongside Japan's 44/81, while the Möbius sign on the left sleeve symbolizes the un-changeable quality and soul of blackmeans and Eliminator.
